The Heineken Experience is a museum located in the old Heineken brewery, in the heart of Amsterdam.
Full of exhibitions and interactive activities, learning the process of distillation and how to throw a good beer directly from the barrel.
Do not wait for queues in your visit to the Heineken Factory and get quick access by buying the ticket on our website.
The beginning of the Heineken factory in 1873, was thanks to the businessman Gerard Heineken, who bought the land where the museum is currently, and built the brewer there, improving his recipe to make it the first "premium" lager beer in the city from Holland. The Hheineken beer has expanded worldwide in up to 192 countries.
Previously they produced beer in vertical barrels and over the years improved their formula, one of these improvements was to ferment it in horizontal tanks that created the perfect pressure for its yeast, this provides a more balanced and intense flavour.

To start your visit, you will be surprised about its ingredients. During the tour they provide information and curiosities about the history of the factory. There you can see the huge traditional copper barrels that they keep for making beer.
They show you the process of distilling the beer or how to throw a good beer on tap. Very original exhibitions, such as knowing what it feels like to be a beer through a 4D experience. Games, interactive panels, multimedia resources and much more fun.
